The Interview with Melissa Jeanne Lee Maxwell

 Where do your first and middle names come from?
     Melissa:  Mom just liked Melissa.  Middle name... I feel like someone had a favorite aunt or favorite teacher - wait, that's Nicole.  I have no idea!  My name means nothing!  That bothers me.

 Morning person or night owl? 
      M: Night owl.
 
What do you do for a living?
      M: Teach piano, I guess.  For a living.  Sometimes I take pictures of people for cookies and babysitting.
 
What is your favorite thing to do?
       M:  Eat.  I like to take pictures, too.

What is the first thing you noticed about Jeff?
       M: His beautiful singing voice.

What is your super power?
      M: My sense of smell.  Also, I cannot tell a lie.  And I can always find my children's shoes.

What is your favorite meal?
      M: Thanksgiving dinner.
 
What is your favorite treat?
      M: Pie

Who or what is your nemesis?
      M: Honestly it's a little kid in my neighborhood and also a boy at school who is making Harrison miserable.
 
What do you do best?
      M:  I think I'm a good cook.

What is your most over-used word or phrase?
      M:  "Dangit!" "Right?!"
 
Who is your favorite muppet?
      M: Kermit
 
What do you want to do or accomplish in the next 10 years?
      M: I would like us to be in a house that we own and be out of debt.

 Where do your first and middle names come from?
     Jeff:  My parents made them up, spelling and all.

 Morning person or night owl? 
      J: Night owl.

 
What do you do for a living?
      J: I look at pictures of people's insides.
 
What is your favorite thing to do?
       J:  Watch college basketball... with my family.

What is the first thing you noticed about Melissa?
       J: She had a lot of sisters and they were all singing in our sacrament meeting.  We were scouting out the new prospects.


What is your super power?
      J: I can turn invisible, but only when nobody can see me.

What is your favorite meal?
      J: Ribs and bread.

 
What is your favorite treat?
      J: Ribs.  And ice cream.

Who or what is your nemesis?
      J: Richard Simmons.  Why doesn't he just leave us alone?

 
What do you do best?
      J:  Be seen and not heard.

What is your most over-used word or phrase?
      J:  "I see what you mean.  You're probably right."  "To be fair..."

      J: Ralph the Dog.

      J: Get a job.

What is your favorite thing to do?
     Harrison: Play four-square with my friend, Ben.
     Chloe: Dance.
     Miles: Ummmm... Superman?  And pandas?


What is your favorite thing to eat and how do you make it?
     Harrison: Pizza.  Well, you get this dough and...you...ummm.  Let's see here.  You put it in the oven.  You cook it.  You take it out and you cover it in tomato sauce and then you put cheese on it.  Then anchovies.  Then mushrooms.  Then pepperoni.  Then sausage.  Then cheese.  And put it in the oven.  Take it out.  And eat your heart out. 
     Chloe: Macaroni.  I don't know how to make it.
     Miles: Donuts.

What is your favorite toy and/or hobby?
     Harrison: Four-square.
     Chloe: My favorite toys are my pandas.
     Miles: Pandas?

What is your favorite place to visit?
     Harrison: Monster Jam Rally.
     Chloe: Natalie's house.  (Her neighbor.)
     Miles: Outside.

What is the grossest thing you can think of?
     Harrison: Naked people.
     Chloe: Do we have to do this one?

What does your Mom do when you're not home?
     Harrison: How am I supposed to know?!!!
     Chloe: Sleep.

     Harrison: He's a radiologist. 
     Chloe: A job.  Being a doctor.

     Harrison: Eat my Mom's delicious desserts.

     Harrison: Harry.
     Chloe: Sometimes people call me Chlo-chloe (pronounced "klo-klo").
     Miles: Two?

What do you want to do when you grow up?
     Harrison: I want to be a monster truck driver.
     Chloe: Teach ballet.
